Learn to draw the human form through direct observation of a live nude model and create finished works of art through drawing techniques using pencil, colored pencil and charcoal. Students will receive live drawing demonstrations, one-on-one instructor guidance, and supportive class critiques based on the elements of art and the principles of design. Concepts taught will include: proportion, intuitive perspective, anatomical correctness, cross- contouring, foreshortening, chiaroscuro and color theory.
