Explore the classical discipline of drawing the human form through direct observation of a live nude model. Create your own finished works of art on paper through the mastery of academic drawing techniques using pencil, colored pencil, and charcoal. Take advantage of live drawing demonstrations, personalized one-on-one instructor guidance and supportive class critiques based on the elements of art and the principles of design. Concepts taught will include: proportion, intuitive perspective, anatomical correctness, cross-contouring, foreshortening, chiaroscuro, and color theory. Whether you are a student developing your college portfolio or an experienced artist looking for a fresh perspective, come experience the discipline of figure drawing from a live model in an inspiring classroom setting.

(Please Note: Students under the age of 18 must have written parental consent to participate).
