[Virtual] Drinks with the Director: The Wait is Over
/Have you heard the news? We're reopening! And we're celebrating! We have loved bringing the Museum to you virtually over the past few months, but we are so excited to welcome you back to the Museum itself and to tell you ALL about our fantastic new season ahead. Tonight, we salute our Members and toast to the return of public visitors beginning September 8. We will also offer some major peeks behind-the-scenes to let you in on all we have been doing to plan for your return and to make sure your visit to the Museum is safe, educational, and fun. What will it look like to be back within the galleries? What will be on view this Fall? What safety procedures and protocols are in place? What have we all been doing in there for six months? We have so much to share!

Join Dr. Alex Rich, Executive Director and Chief Curator, for an interactive happy hour and Q&A as he chats LIVE with YOU and members of our team: Ellen Chastain, Education Manager; Tory King, Director of Retail Operations & Visitor Experience; Matt Belcher, Preparator and Design Manager; Taylor Holycross, Manager of Membership and Communications; and Diane Baires, Assistant to the Executive Director. They — along with a few surprise guests throughout the evening! — are eager to discuss all things reopening, from the unforeseen benefits of museum social distancing and our upcoming class offerings to our Hindsight 2020 exhibition and the grand reveal of the 2020 - 2021 exhibition season and new gallery spaces in the Museum!
