Oven Green Beans

Ingredients:

  • 3 pounds green beans

  • ½ pound bacon

  • 1 chopped onion

  • 1 can mushrooms

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Fry bacon.

  2. Sauté mushrooms and onions in drippings.

  3. Snap and wash beans.

  4. Put beans, onions, mushrooms, sugar, salt, and pepper in Dutch oven.

  5. Cover and cook at 350 for 1 ½ hours, stirring occasionally. Serves 8.
