Gallery Concert Series: Baroque Strings

The Polk Museum of Art and
the Lakeland Symphony Orchestra
present

We invite you to join us for The Gallery Concert Series, a special set of ensemble performances, live in our galleries and inspired by our upcoming partner exhibition, Pictures at an Exhibition. Guest curated by instrumentalists of the Orchestra, Pictures at an Exhibition pairs artwork from the Museum’s permanent collection with hand-picked musical selections performed by the musicians themselves for a unique multi-sensory viewing and listening experience.

On Thursday, February 10, experience the Baroque Strings. The Baroque era produced some of the earliest European music we consider familiar, like Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons or Pachelbel’s Canon.

If you are a Museum Member, please contact Taylor Holycross at THolycross@PolkMuseumofArt.org or by phone at 863.688.7743 ext. 249 to receive your discount code.
