Join us October 11 beginning at 6 pm for a live, interactive discussion and Q&A via Facebook Live and Zoom with Dr. Alex Rich, Executive Director and Chief Curator, as he takes your questions and chats with artists Samuel Bak and Reynier Llanes, the two solo artists featured in our Fall exhibitions. You’ll learn about both artist’s working processes, Bak’s decades-long career and Llanes’ rising fame in the art world, Bak’s miraculous survival of the Holocaust and Llanes’ origins in Cuba, and the stories behind the incredible paintings found in our exhibitions, Remembering Vilna: The Holocaust and the Art of Samuel Bak and Timeless Origins: The Art of Reynier Llanes.
