BRUSHSTROKES AND PANELS:
EXPLORING THE CONNECTION OF NORMAN ROCKWELL AND COMIC BOOKS WITH JENNI GREGORY
Lab starts at 10:30am
Free for Members, $5 per Non-Member
Pre-registration is required.
Join local comic book illustrator, Jenni Gregory, as she leads participants through Norman Rockwell’s influence on the dynamic world of comic books.
Whether you're an art enthusiast, a comic book aficionado, or someone curious about the fusion of these two art forms, this workshop promises to be a fun, lighthearted, and enlightening journey into the heart of visual storytelling.
This workshop will spotlight the parallel evolution of comic books and examine how artists in this genre draw inspiration from Rockwell's narrative style. Through discussions, visual presentations, and hands-on activities, participants will look at the artistic elements that bridge the gap between Rockwell's timeless illustrations and the dynamic world of comic book storytelling.
