unnamed.jpg

Each month (September to May), participants will be introduced to one of the Museum’s exhibitions in a fun and accessible, hands-on learning experience for all ages. Labs are led by professional artists or art educators who guide participants in creating their own artwork. Using a array of mediums and techniques, the project will relate to an exhibition on display in the Museum.

Rachelle Eason is an artist, teacher, and inspirer. She is the owner and Chief Imagination Officer of BoiLeD BooKs, an international paper company featuring her colorful and textured eco-printed designs created through plant staining achieved by boiling. A teacher for over twenty years, Rachelle owned a contemporary retail studio in Shelby, NC for several years but her gypsy genes are strong and she is currently traveling to teach and sharing her art in studios and shows all around the US.

As a former classroom teacher with a Masters of Education, Rachelle emphasized art as an important vehicle in interactive learning for her students. Her passion for art has continued to grow since Saturday morning art lessons at the Carnegie Museum of Pittsburgh in her early childhood through honing her skills in college, graduate school, and with artists all around. Her journey has provided many experiences she loves to share.

Rachelle is invited to show and sell her art at special events around Walt Disney World. She was invited to set up shop to share her BoiLeD BooKs collection during the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Earth Day Celebration, and Art in August at Disney Springs.

Her mission as an artist is to inspire life long enrichment through art and to provide a wonderful array of experiences that invites everyone to take an entertaining adventure into self-expression!
