The Art of Film presents a forum for appreciating movies as an art form. With audience Q&A and talkback sessions with film directors and faculty from Florida Southern College following each screening, this unique Polk Museum series will entertain, engage, and educate audiences of all ages. 

Film: Hide your Smiling Faces (2013)

Daniel Patrick Carbone was born on August 28, 1984 in Newton, New Jersey, USA. He is a producer and cinematographer, known for Hide Your Smiling Faces (2013), Feral (2008) and Collective: Unconscious (2016).

Synopsis: After a neighborhood tragedy, two adolescent brothers confront changing relationships, the mystery of nature, and their own mortality. Hide Your Smiling Faces is an atmospheric exploration of rural American life through the often distorted lens of youth.
