NEW DATE! Please note that October’s Gallery Perspectives is one week early (now on Friday, October 4).
In Gallery Perspectives, we invite special guests to offer unique takes on a current exhibition at the Museum, as interpreted through their individual lenses and disciplines.
On Friday, October 4, we are so excited to welcome back Dr. Willem Hoogsteder for a sneak peek tour previewing our upcoming exhibition “Dutch Impressionism: The Hague School, 1860-1930.” Dr. Hoogsteder has been the owner and director of Hoogsteder Gallery and the Hoogsteder Museum Foundation in the Netherlands since 1989. He studied art history at Utrecht University and received his doctoral degree from the prestigious Courtauld Institute of Art in London. He and the Foundation have collaborated with the Museum in the past with 2017’s blockbuster “Rembrandt's Academy” exhibition and again in 2020 with “Music & Dance in Painting of the Dutch Golden Age.”
