Join us for a reception celebrating the musical spirit and history of jazz — as well as the spirit and legacy of Dr. King through art and music — as inspired by our current exhibition Above All, Enjoy the Music, featuring the jazz photographs of Herman Leonard. The evening will include an introduction to the exhibition, live performances by the Sankofa Chorale, and a discussion of the legacy of jazz with Dr. Jessie Owens.
