Southeastern University's "A Night at the Opera" Performance
The Southeastern University music department will present it's 18th annual A Night at the Opera...Scenes program on Saturday, April 14th at 7 P.M. in the Polk Museum of Art auditorium.
The scenes presented in these programs are geared toward presenting opera excerpts that both opera lovers and opera novices can enjoy, scenes which are carefully selected for their accessibility to aspiring young voices. In past programs, there have been scenes presented from operas such as The Marriage of Figaro, The Magic Flute, Don Giovanni, The Tender Land, Hansel and Gretel, Daughter of the Regiment and an array of others. Please join us for an enjoyable evening of opera, chosen to entertain and delight.
Southeastern University’s College of Arts & Media is proud to host a stellar performance series throughout the 2017-2018 school year featuring notable guest artists from around the nation, as well as their talented students and faculty.
