About our Speaker
Dr. H. Alexander Rich is the Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Museum. In addition, he is also an Assistant Professor of Art History at Florida Southern College and chair of the newly established Department of Art History & Museum Studies, which will be located at the Museum beginning this fall. Dr. Rich is a specialist in Modern and Contemporary Art History, with a particular focus on European and American art of the 19th and 20th centuries. He earned his Ph.D. in Art History from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, and his A.B. from Dartmouth College.
