Although best known for his paintings, Renoir embraced printmaking during the last twenty years of his life and was prolific in their production. Exploring Renoir’s distinctive visual vocabulary and contextualizing his subject matter in the era in which he lived, this gallery talk will offer visitors a closer look at a side of Renoir’s career unfamiliar to most.
