About our Guest

Dr. Anna Caney is an Assistant Professor of History at Florida Southern College. Dr. Caney is a specialist in Early Modern European History with an emphasis on intellectual and gender issues. Her secondary research fields include the history of the Atlantic World and the Middle East.  Dr. Caney earned her Ph.D. in Early Modern European History from Florida State University, and her B.A. from Florida Southern College.
