World Building (Ages 11-14)

Instructor: Clifford Parody, M.F.A., Creative Writing, University of North Carolina; Creative Writing Teacher at Harrison School for the Arts

Fee: $150 Members, $200 Non-Members

Students will spend the week developing and immersing themselves in a world of their own creation. Using examples ranging from Narnia and Mordor to contemporary cartoons and comics as their guides, students will construct maps, character sketches, specific settings, societal norms, laws, and even languages, leaving camp with an excellent foundation to continue constructing stories on.


REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Sunday, March 2, 2025

Any registrations submitted after the registration deadline includes a $35 late fee.

REFUNDS

All refund requests must be submitted in writing and will incur a $35 handling fee (per student). Requests can be made up to fourteen days prior to the class starting date. No refund will be given after the fourteen-day period.
