Heart for Art
Artwork by Polk County Students Grades K through 12
The public is invited to celebrate and recognize the talents of our Polk County Public Schools' students with us virtually! Heart for Art features the work of students grades K through 12. As an acknowledgment of the critical role art education plays in the development of young learners, we honor the students for their hard work and achievement while also honoring their art teachers for their commitment to the youth of our county.
Two students will be recognized as Purchase Award recipients, with their entries becoming a part of either the Polk Museum of Art's collection of student artwork or the School Board of Polk County's collection.
This exhibition is on view in person in our George Jenkins Student Gallery from June 19 to August 29, 2021.
