Art Out Loud

Art Out Loud

Artwork by Polk County Middle School Students

The public is invited to celebrate and recognize the talents of our Polk County Public Schools' middle school students with us virtually! Art Out Loud features the work of middle school students grades 6 through 8. As an acknowledgment of the critical role art education plays in the development of young learners, we honor the students for their hard work and achievement while also honoring their art teachers for their commitment to the youth of our county.

Three students will be recognized as Purchase Award recipients, with their entries becoming a part of either The Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art, the School Board of Polk County, or the Kid’s Tag Art program by the Polk County Tax Collector’s Office.

This exhibition is on view in person in our George W. Jenkins Student Gallery from November 23, 2024 to January 5, 2025.
