Join us at Outer Space Art Gallery and Studio in Winter Haven for the exhibition reception for Firelight. This show features ceramics and photography by eight regional contemporary artists: Calan Ree (St. Pete), Kristina Stafford (Winter Haven), Vadim Malkin (Orlando), Andrew Coombs (Winter Haven), Sarah Brewington (Lakeland), M.H. Myers Fine Art (Jacksonville), Laurie Coppedge (Jacksonville), David Woods (Winter Haven).

Outer Space is a contemporary art gallery and resident artist studio in Winter Haven. It was founded as a partnership between the Polk Museum of Art, Arts Ensemble and Polk State College as a place for arts education, exhibition, and creation. Resident artists Trent Manning (Winter Haven, FL) and Adam Justice (Lakeland, FL) are also co-curators of the gallery space, working closely with regional artists and collectors to manage a diverse exhibition schedule. Outer Space is currently in the preliminary stages of establishing an internship program for art students attending Polk State College. The internships will be designed to offer experience in portfolio development and curatorial practice.
