Labs begin at 10:30am and end at noon
Each month, participants will be to introduced to one of the Museum's exhibitions in a fun, entertaining and accessible manner through hands-on learning for all ages and skills. Labs are led by professional artists or art educators whom will engage participants in creating their own piece of artwork through a wide array of art mediums, techniques and connecting conversations relating to a specific exhibition on display in the Museum.
February 11: Watercolor Vintage Neon Signs (Alison LaMons)
Join local artist Alison LaMons for a hands-on look into her current Museum exhibition “Neon Nostalgia”. In this Art Lab, LaMons will guide participants, of all ages and skill, into her world of vibrant watercolor painted neon signs. Tap into her story, her message and the watercolor techniques she uses to master your own vintage neon sign painting.
