Figure Painting in Oil with a Limited Palette (Evening)

Learn the classical atelier technique of painting from a live model using a limited palette of oil paint on canvas. Concepts taught will include anatomical correctness, rendering form, color mixing with a limited palette, blending oils, and developing personal voice through experimentation and discovery. Students will benefit from a lively, supportive classroom environment featuring weekly instructor demonstrations, one-on-one support, and constructive class critiques based on the elements of art and the principles of design. Whether you are a student seeking to diversify your portfolio or a seasoned artist looking for a fresh perspective this class will inspire, challenge, and delight your creative ambitions. 

(Please Note: Students under the age of 18 must have written parental consent to participate).


REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Sunday, September 15, 2024

Any registrations submitted after the registration deadline includes a $35 late fee.

REFUNDS

All refund requests must be submitted in writing and will incur a $35 handling fee. If a class or workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be available. If a class or workshop is not cancelled and refund is requested, a reimbursement will be made in full up to seven days prior to the class or workshop starting date. No reimbursement will be made after the seven-day period.
