Topics to be discussed include:

  • The Growth Mindset and Artmaking

  • Visual Storytelling, Project-Based Artmaking

  • Curating Our Own Work

  • The Aesthetics of Presenting Art

  • Discussing One’s Artwork

Since this class is focused on the creative process, it does not address specific artistic techniques or media. Therefore, it is an appropriate class for those working in 2D or 3D visual arts, photography, film-making, creative writing, etc. Participants will simply need to bring a journal/notebook.
